Used to play a sound file and capture digits entered by the caller using their touch tone telephone key pad.
The difference between this step and the Play Recording and Capture step is that the sound file to be played does not have to be
1. | Sound File Name | (Mandatory) | The fully-qualified name of a sound file |
2. | Digits Low | (Optional) | The minimum number of digits allowed |
3. | Digits High | (Optional) | The maximum number of digits allowed |
4. | Valid Digits | (Optional) | The valid digits. e.g: if the menu contains only 5 options, valid digits may specify that only the values 1,2,3,4 or 5 will be accepted. Entering any digits other than these will return a Fail outcome |
5. | Terminating Digit | (Optional) | The terminating digit. This will allow Softdial CallGem™ to stop capturing digits after the terminating digit is entered |
6. | Capture Timeout | (Optional) | The number of seconds to wait for the user's input |

By default there are 5 outcomes (Fig. 3):

With this component, you can also create your own outcome fields.
A new outcome is created each time the component is linked to a new step. You may specify a new outcome value by checking the newly created field and entering a new Outcome Value (Fig. 4).

When creating a menu, specify all of the options in the menu and the options required for each menu item selected as shown in Fig. 5 and Fig. 6.
