Agent Desktop

V10.7 introduces Softdial Agent Desktop™, a fully integrated, browser-based environment for handling agent media sessions.

Initially this will replace the Scripter Client desktop provided in previous versions, but in future will be extended to provide additional agent based features such as agent performance stats, messaging and others.

The main benefits provided with Agent Desktop are:

Support for multiple media sessions, via multiple 'session windows' to the agent. The number and mix of media types and sessions is configurable by the supervisor or administrator on an agent by agent and campaign by campaign basis
Browser agnostic - Agent Desktop can be run in any modern browser (Scripter Client was restricted to MS Internet Explorer)
Compatible with Scripter Client (XBAP-based) scripts. (Custom controls are not yet supported)
Softdial Webphone™, which enables calls natively within the browser via WebRTC
