Layer | Campaign |
Direction | To CallGem |
Type of Service | CG |
Interface ID | CA |
Message Purpose | This allows the Agent application to resume a campaign that was previously suspended. |
Example | RC\CNCustCare\PI |
Explanation | The agent application is asking CallGem to reopen the CustCare campaign, after a previous Suspend Campaign [SC] message. Key dialing characteristics of the campaign such as talk times and connect ratios are regarded as being relatively unchanged, so the agent application is asking for overdial to start again immediately for predictive calls. |
Notes |
If using a version of SCC prior to V10.6.600, see the Starting and Resuming a Campaign Any telephone numbers held in the queue for timed calls whose time in the Planned Time (PT) parameter of the Make Call [MC] message is passed during any calendar day, whilst a campaign is suspended, will be returned to the agent application as soon as a campaign resumes. CallGem will assume that any unfulfilled Call Request [CR] message as at the prior suspension, will be ignored by the agent application. So if the agent application is not in the habit of sending unprompted Make Call [MC] messages, CallGem will issue another Call Request [CR] message as the campaign resumes, if further numbers to dial are required immediately.
